Frucor recalls 350ml V Energy Drink

Frucor Beverages Ltd is recalling 350ml bottles of V from two production runs with best before dates of 26, 27, 28 September and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 October 2004 because of the possibility there may be glass fragment under the cap on some bottles. The best before date appears on the side of the bottle above the label.

While the risk is considered minimal and there have been no reports of injury this product should not be consumed. Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The product is sold in supermarkets, dairies, service stations and most other food and beverage outlets throughout the country.

This recall only affects product with best before dates of 26, 27, 28 September and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 October 2004. It does not affect cans or multipack bottles of V or any other beverages manufactured by Frucor Beverages.
