- Frucor's export focus is on Australasia, including the Pacific Islands. It also exports 'V' to the UK. The company has built a successful export business in recent years, receiving a Trade NZ commendation for export earnings growth.
- In January 2002, Frucor was acquired by Danone, a multinational food and beverage company. Danone will now manage the sale of Frucor brands in all other markets with an emphasis on Asia, and develop plans at a time to suit their business priorities. Frucor is not seeking any new distributors given the international relationship with Danone.
