Frucor is a significant player in the beverages market in New Zealand. With this privilege comes responsibility. One of our key areas of responsibility is managing and minimising our impact on the environment. We are taking this task seriously and are undertaking a number of projects to improve our performance.
Our key areas of focus:
- Wherever possible, reducing the amount and weight of our packaging
- Improving our own recycling rates
- Implementing an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Developing a benchmark for accurate measurement and reporting of our Carbon Footprint (and coming up with a plan for how we're going to reduce it)
- Working with beverage industry stakeholders to improve our overall performance
